iPhone MMS update
iPhone MMS update release September 25 2009 | TechBanyan: US 3G iPhone users will finally be able to receive Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) through an AT&T upgrade. By downloading the update from iTunes, AT&T 3G iPhone users will be able to send pictures and videos to friends, just like text messages
You’ve been waiting for it. We’ve been bitching about it, but it’s here! MMS for iPhone is available for download from iTunes as a “carrier update”.
Open iTunes, plug your iPhone in and you should have a message saying that a carrier update is available for download.
AT&T and Apple have begun to roll out MMS service to U.S. iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS users. The service requires a carrier settings update—listed in the Settings application as AT&T 5.5—which is available through the Update feature in iTunes. AT&T originally promised to have the service available by late summer, but later changed that date to today; it rolled out the feature to a small test group early last week, and is reportedly nervous about today’s launch based on the traffic demands seen from the test users. Mad Men Episode
I watched last weeks' episode of Mad Men which received an Emmy for best drama. Don and Betty Draper had their baby, they named it Eugene/Gene after Betty dead father. They showed child birth in the 60's, how the woman is given Demerol, no one is in the room with her, except a mean nurse who is not compassionate. I guess in the 60's the man or family was not in the delivery room
The Brits, who bought the advertising firm where penny pinching, talking about a few dollars in expenses, Don Draper told them to chill out and let the sales team sell. Duck Phillips also called Peggy Olson and Pete to try to recruit them to his new firm.At first Pete did not seem excited about the idea, but he seemed to get annoyed in the way he was treated regarding an interesting development. Pete had a client who sold Television, he noticed sales were flat but in the African American community sales were rising, Pete tried to get the company to increase sales in Ebony and other African American advertising mediums, but everyone got mad at Pete for mentioning it, it's funny how 1 year late 1964 the civil rights act will pass. It is just an amazing show because you look back into history. They are currently in 1963 pretty close to the day JFK was shot.
They are also developing the character of Sally, who is Don Drapers daughter, I assume she is going to be a hippy and rebel against the 1960's. Peggy also asked Don for equal pay, and he told her now is not a good time. Peggy is struggling with sexual barriers and trying to break the male only barriers.

Emmy Winners 2009
The Emmy awards where pretty good last night, it showed how much trouble the networks are in. Mad Men, Damages, and Breaking Bad all won. Keep in mind Damages is on FX and Mad Men and Breaking Bad are on AMC.
Mad Men for drama series. One of my favorite shows on TV, wonderful written show. What Amazes me about Mad Men is that is on AMC. Mad Men is in it's third season.
Damages and Glen Close won as well. Damages is a great show, on of my favorites, I have caught up on Damages with Apple TV. Damages would never make it on regular TV because of the adult situations.

Iowans Split on Gay Marriage
In the first Des Moines Register poll since the Iowa Supreme Court overturned a statutory ban on gay marriage in April, Iowans are evenly divided on the issue with 41% saying they would vote for a constitutional ban and 40% opposed to a ban.
However, the overwhelming majority of Iowans -- 92% -- say gay marriage has brought no real change to their lives."
This proves the point that gar marriage does not effect your marriage. Gay marriage is in many states and the world did not fall apart and the instution of marriage is just fine. 50% of all marriages fail, I actually think it's a nice thing that people want to get married and have a family.

kanye west did a very nice job on jay leno, kanye west made a mistake at the vma when he pulled that stunt with Taylor swift Jay leno asked, kanye west about the vma incident and it was a good interview. Let's be honest, he did not do anything that bad, he is a pretty decent guy, he played a prank. People do way worse. I think will be fine. I also think Jay Leno show is pretty good. I think he will get ratings that it will be success for NBC because of the limited production costs. I think he will have good nights and bad nights. Depending on the guests. I have always been a fan of Leno, especially his open jokes.

The 240-179 vote on the resolution of disapproval reflected the sharp partisan divide over the issue. Democrats insisted that the South Carolina Republican take responsibility for what they said was a serious breach of decorum. Republicans characterized the vote as a political stunt.
I think this is good news. I think it could have been racism but you can't be 100% sure, it's hard to accuse someone of racisim, however Mr. Wilson has a history: Chris Matthews, on Tuesday’s "Hardball," insinuated racism may have been behind Rep. Joe Wilson's outburst against President Obama, at last week’s health care speech, as he repeatedly asked his guests if they thought Wilson's exclamation was "A race thing," that represented "the old black/white attitude of the South."
